Explore the routes of one of Southern Utah’s longest-running and most popular desert motorcycle races.

The Rhino Rally has been held in the St. George and Warner Valley area for approximately 42 years. According to the Bureau of Land Management, the race attracts an average of about 300 participants annually—representing an estimated 12,600 rider entries throughout its history.

The Rhino Rally is a true desert-racing experience. Riders face dusty starts, rocky trails, fast open sections, sand and gravel washes, whoops and constantly changing terrain. The course stretches across the dramatic desert country south of St. George near the Utah–Arizona border, combining speed, endurance and technical riding into an unforgettable event.

Included routes:

• Path to Pit Row — approximately 8 miles
• Kids Loop — approximately 9¾ miles
• Big Bike Loop — approximately 41 miles

The Path to Pit Row helps riders and families understand the route between the staging area and the race pits. The Kids Loop provides younger racers with a genuine desert-racing course at a manageable distance. The 41-mile Big Bike Loop is the main attraction, taking adult and experienced youth riders deep into the Warner Valley desert.

This is an excellent resource for:

• Riders preparing for the Rhino Rally
• Families planning their race day
• Racers reviewing the course and surrounding terrain
• Anyone interested in Southern Utah desert riding
• Past participants who want to revisit the Rhino Rally experience

Important: Desert routes and racecourses can change from year to year. Always follow the current event markings, official race instructions and applicable land-use rules. Do not rely on historical route information as a substitute for the officially marked racecourse.
